We provide a suite of products, procedures and resources to build, manage and use
large, medium or small scale application Grids targeted at .NET 1.1, 2.0 on 32 and 64 bit platforms. Also, to better support architectures like Linux and FreeBSD, we expect to exploit Rotor, Mono and DotGNU
in the near future.
Support for the Application Level
SmartGrid.NET provides the following application level tools:
- User Interface
- Application Programming Interfaces
- Support for a Scripting Model for the dynamic management of Grids
In addition, we offer guidance in the use of products and protocols for Grid
construction e.g. Microsoft WSE, Indigo, Microsoft PAG Enterprise Library, MSMQ,
MQ, ActiveMQ, Tibco EMS, SmartSockets, Rendevous, Log4Net.
Architecture Combinations
SmartGrid.NET works on all WinTel hardware and Virtual Machines (VMs) i.e. VMWare or VirtualServer.
The use of the .NET Framework enables straightforward, quick and effective provisioning of software applications to large numbers of computers. It has been our aim to provide solutions for building and running business critical systems which require continuity of service in the face of adversity. SmartGrid.NET fully utilizes and enables the use of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
